Block access

You may want to block access to your Online Banking service if you will not need access to your accounts for a period of time as an added security message.

If you do choose to block access to your accounts you can only gain access again by calling us.

You should make sure you have carried out all necessary transactions before setting up your Internet account block.

When you block Internet access you can still manage your account in other ways e.g. cash machine (unless your account is only accessible online). Your account itself is unchanged and remains open, with any pending payments/transfers still taking place. To re-enable access you will need to contact the Online Banking Helpdesk on 0800 917 9170, open 8am - 8pm Mon-Fri, 8am - 6pm Sat and 9am - 6pm on Sundays (if calling from outside the UK please dial 044 01908 238 013).
